With the adventure pass discount, this was one of the only affordable attractions at Niagara Falls, with most being at least over $25. It cost only $9/person with the pass. You can see the whirlpool from here with the swirling water and nice views of Niagara Glen. I noticed on this ride the whirlpool jet boat ride didn't even come... more
For those who want to do and see it all, the Spanish Aero Car built in 1916 is another level of attraction you might want to try. It costs something like $12 Canadian and runs every half hour. The car travels out over the whirlpool formed by the Niagara River rapids rushing into the narrow channel beyond an the sense... more
This was pretty good for another perspective of the falls.Im not good with heights but this was fine. Make sure you line up early though for your allocated time spot or you could get stuck standing in the middle of the cable car instead of the outside and the view would not be very good. Well worth doing. more
Nothing spectacular, you could skip this attraction and not cry about it. There are plenty of other things to do in Niagara. Basically it is a cable car that takes you over the niagara gorge, maybe 200 ft or so up, not that high. from one end of the river and then back, 5 minutes tops each way. Supposedly you... more
I am not a heights guy, but I had no problem with this ride. It is probably as safe was any ski lift or ski gondola. It does not sway or swing. They only scary moment is when they make you change side at the other end, but even that is kind of cool. The very of the whirlpool are... more
I was surprised how a lot of people won't go on this attraction. I did not feel unsafe at all. If there is any wind, the ride closes down. It's pricey for what you get, but all part of the Niagara Experience. Once you go, it is something you never have to do again. I thought it had one of... more
So I believe them and tried it! It was okay-about a 10 minute trip for $10 a person. Good views of the whirlpool, the water color is beautiful, and you can see some fairly up close views of the walls of the canyon, people fishing below, and of course that swirling water. You stand for this ride. When you get... more
Been there, did it. Nothing special about this. Basically they run you out over the whirlpool and back in ten minutes. Nothing impressive. I wouldn't feel bad if you never do this. It's "fine" more
Another reasonably priced attraction around the Niagara Falls area. The trip takes 10 minutes and you literaly cross the gorge and come back. The views along the gorge are spectacular and you do get a good view of the Whirlpool Rapids. The guide gives a good commentary which gives a little bit of history about the gorge and the whirlpool.... more
