this rest/bar/beach provides direct access from the beach to a reef that many tour boats bring passengers. it is a bit of a swim(most relaxing one though) from the beach but the fish and underwater sights are incredible.the beer is cold and salsa hot..if you are really ambitious a beach volleyball game with some locals did it for me more

Just south of Chankanaab is Playa Corona, which shares access to the Yucab reef and offers the same brilliant marine fauna and wonderful flora as the park next door.The crowds that visit Chankanaab haven't yet discovered this traquil neighboor.
