We stayed at the Patatran 6 days. Good location for the view, bad location if you want to be close to the beach. You cannot move without a bicycle (8€ per day and only 2 on around 20 were women suitable) and it takes around 30 minutes to go to Anse Source d'Argent. I had stopped previously 4 yr ago at the Chateau St Cloud on La Digue & remain really impressed with every aspect of this hotel. The standard rooms are clean (with an excellent hot shower!) and nicely positioned within the grounds, which were immaculate.
