The room was very dirty and the hotel needs to be renovated really bad. Mold on the walls as well as dirt and grim. The staff that checked us in was awful. They were rude and really nasty. This includes that manager. The only people in the hotel that worked very hard was the ladies that worked the Breakfast in... more
I visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptionally good - better than all other Mediterranean food I have eaten. The hummu was the best of all similar restaurants. The falafel was amazingly good and the lamb chops were heavenly. I went again later in the week and got a chicken... more
Wanted to go somewhere special for an anniversary meal. We live in the area and know that Shapleys is considered one of the best restaurants in town so we chose it. Started well with tasty (if unimaginative) appetizers. Though ordering was difficult with the waitress walking off in the middle of our order. Salad was rotten and inedible. Someone made... more
My family and I came for relaxation; I as well as the kids were overwhelmed with the suite. Spacious rooms, bedrooms were separated by the living room. The staff was very friendly, breakfast was great, manager's specials in the evening was great; the meals in the evening actually saved me a lot of money. As far as cleanliness.....exvellent. I would... more
The best steak in town by far. Every visit has been wonderful. I normally get the Filet but the Ribeye is large enough for at least 3 people to get full. Fried crab claws are tasty as well. Pretty decent wine list too. Very nice atmosphere. This place is a must if you're in the area.....and don't forget the lump... more
Check-in was quick and efficient, although the hotel staff was quite busy. Everything went well until our stool overflowed that night. The desk clerk, who didn't speak English fluently (to put it mildly) simply told us to turn off the valve. We had already done so to stop the water flow, but of course we still needed to use the... more
Staybridges are my new "best" hotels. Very clean and well kept. This was my second stay at this hotel. My only issue- both visits I encountered an employee who was rather unfriendly and somewhat beligerent. I don't think he's happy at his job. But, that would not deter me from staying here again. Nice breakfast buffet, and If you stay... more
It's not bad from the outside, but the inside is another story. We stayed in a smoking room, so of course it's going to have a bit of that stale cigarette odor. But this room smelled like a giant ashtray, and the fact that the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work didn't help matters any. Our in room coffee... more
I was invited by some friends to stay the night while they were at a conference in Jackson. I had never heard of Drury before, but they moved from the Hilton because they liked it better. The rooms are nice. The one we were in was a bit small, but very clean and well-kept. The breakfast is awesome. There was... more
We stayed at this property twice in two weeks time. We travel to Jackson frequently and hoped that it would provide the basic amenities we needed for our stay, a clean room, convenient location and basic meeting room facilities. Unfortunately, the property struck out on both occasions. It has been recently updated, but that is just a facade. Underneath its... more
I stayed at the Econo Lodge North in Ridgeland in May 2008. My husband and I were in town for a friend's graduation and we stayed at the same hotel as her family. I do have a few complaints, I know what to expect from a room that only costs $50/night, but I thought that people would want to know... more
Had a family dinner at Amerigo's. Wonderful, food, service and atmosphere. Will dine here again. more
We are frequent travelers and come to Jackosn once a month. The Cabot North has always been our lodging of choice- it is consistently reasonably priced, conveniently located, well maintained and the other guests are business and family travelers. However, the Cabot is rapidly changing. We were placed in hallway marked non-smoking, yet it felt like we were walking through... more
This is a great property close to everything in Jackson. I have stayed here several times now and love it each time. The staff is friendly, several of the rooms have balconies and the pool is always spotless. I travel often and this is a great property at a great rate. You can't ask for more when travelling. more
I recently visited this resturant in Ridgeland. I had the most wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful, we had such a good time with them. The atmosphere was great and the food was wonderful. I never has such a good filet. The manager there was so friendly and we had fun with him. I would definatly go again and reccomend... more
Great place for an overnight stay. It was very clean. We had a nonsmoking room and there was not a hint of smoke. My husband is allergic to smoke and this is a must for us. Check in people were very cordial and efficient. There were plenty of washcloths and towells. Usually one has to ask for more. The lounge... more
