This is one of several Intercontinental hotels in Tokyo, and is located near the Roppongi entertainment district. It is better known as the ANA. It has a subway station (tameike-sanno) on the Ginza line (colour coded yellow on transport maps and signs) almost outside but this not particularly helpful for reaching either Tokyo or Shinjuku stations which are the two... more

The Park Hyatt in NW district of Shinjuku is one of the grandest I have ever stayed with a high level of modern luxury and service, with price to match. Don't stay at the Grand Prince Akasaka. If you read no more of this review I have hopefully done my duty in protecting you from this hotel. The positives: the location is fine, close to the subways and 10-15mins walk from Roppongi. The staff are polite (this IS Japan...) (but see below re not being helpful at all). The negatives:... more
