Me and a friend felt really good at El Gusto Es Nuestro, the food was excellent, served with a cup of special chilean red wine (had an interesting talk about peruvian, chilean and argentine wines with the owner). The location, rooms, cleanliness, food, hot water and atmosphere of this hostal are great, but the guys at the reception were not very helpful. They organized for us a extremely overpriced taxi and they did not tell us the correct amount. When we wanted to pay, they very extremly chaotic and not very friendly.
