I would suggest everyone to stay here. Far away from the crowd of St.Marks Sq. but at the same time 2 blocks away from it (better to say 2 bridges away from it). Stayed here for a total of 3 nights before and after a cruise. It was an overall great experience. Booked it based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and very low rates compared to staying in Venice proper, and it lived up to its reputation. We were a group of 8. We stayed at the Floida from the 1st to the 4th of July and it was a pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel for its position close to St Lucia station and Piazzale Roma(about 10mins) on foot, and only 2 bridges to tackle.. They told when the new bridge will open it will be one by then, direct from P.... more
